Christmas 2009

We went to Kaysville Utah this year for Christmas. It was a fabulous time. The girls loved playing with their cousins and they continue to talk of them often. Miley adored her Grandparents and talks about her Papa all the time. I think Grandpa won her over completely this time. There was plenty of snow so we had fun sledding down the hill in Shane's parents back yard and little Ella even tried snow boarding for the first time and she did awesome! She made it down the hill several times without falling. Santa brought us a Wii this year. We have had fun playing it as a family. Other than that our Christmas was fairly modest as we considered our trip to Utah as a big gift to us already. Poor Shane got Violently sick on Christmas morning with what we think was food poisoning. I don't think he was much aware of the presents that morning. thankfully he got through it and overall our trip was a success. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and we wish you all the best in the new year!

Thanksgiving

We had Joel come visit us for Thanksgiving. The next day we drove up to Turner Falls in Oklahoma and did some hiking. Some OU professor built a castle there in the 30's - just to explain the castle pics.

Halloween

We're obviously posting this one late, but here's a few pics of the kids at Halloween.

Pumpkin Patch

I guess this is becoming a tradition for us, but we took the kids to the pumpkin patch today. The weather was perfect - but a little muddy. Always a good time to take some pics. Enjoy.

Labor Day

We went to Dinosaur Valley State Park for Labor Day. There are supposed to be quite a few fossilized dinosaur tracks there, but we couldn't find any of them. Good thing there was a swimming hole - it was a hot day.

Miley's 2nd Birthday

Miley turned 2 on the 5th. Here are some pics. And yes, that picture is of her trying to open a present with her teeth.

Back to School *Yee Haw!"

School has started once again. Kaylee has started 1st grade and Ella is in her 2nd year of Preschool. Both of their teachers seem really nice and excited about teaching so I feel great about this year. Kaylee comes home beaming everyday. She just loves school. I hope that feeling can continue as long as possible.
